Intake — connector polling and push
P A skill is a complete procedure that can use LLM judgment and optional executable helpers. A tool is runnable source and/or a binary inside that procedure. Connector calls, state transitions, agent calls and permission checks are runtime access, not extra learned skills or imaginary binaries. Only the methods and segments selected for the actual case run.

platform.intake — Connector intake: poll or push
P Function. Poll the declared ticket and mailbox sources or accept an authenticated push from the client surface or another declared connector; normalise, correlate and persist the arrival, start or resume the case, then wake Support root. No LLM agent is required for intake.
| Contract | Content |
|---|---|
| Input brief | Connector event or poll result, source/revision identity, verified connector/tenant binding and captured files |
| Output brief | Immutable source revision and normalised arrival reference; existing/new Support case correlation and wake-up event |
| Scope and restrictions | Connector metadata is untrusted content; verified identity, deduplication and case entitlement are software checks. Intake does not classify the business request, investigate a mechanism or ask an LLM to decide authority; which sources exist is the customer plug-in's configuration. A tool, not an agent: code with a contract that the platform runs on a schedule or on request. It holds its task in the ledger like anything else, but there is no prompt, no model route and no eval set. Poll cursors, retries and source hashes are durable; duplicate delivery wakes the same case once. |
| Memory / ownership | platform/intake |
| Role instructions | Keep origin, intent, route, parent-confirmed plans, gates, accepted handovers, waits and obligations coherent. |
| Runtime / connector access | poll cursor / authenticated webhook or UI push origin/revision deduplication ARRIVALS + source PAPERS + outbox wake-up |
| Runtime profile identity | platform.intake |
Source basis. Agents, normalised-arrival.schema.
